Brooklyn weddings in the Outer Banks NC

Established in the 18th century and located in Dare County Outer Banks North Carolina, weddings in the Outer Banks NC are simple and absolutely perfect. Kitty Hawk has miles of natural beauty, pristine sandy beaches, fabulous weather which averages between 77 – 88 degrees, and a long standing heritage of fresh local seafood, natural attractions and the first flight by the Wright Brothers, all of which makes Kitty Hawk North Carolina one of the best places for beach weddings on the East Coast and for beautiful wedding photos.

Having been up and down the East Coast, I can honestly say there’s a unique quality to the weddings in the Outer Banks that you don’t find anywhere else. So I get why Linda and Trent made the 430 mile journey from Brooklyn to Kitty Hawk. Weddings in the Outer Banks are an EVENT, not just an event. They last a week, not 8 hours. They’re generally non traditional weddings held outside on the beach under a clear blue sky with sand between your toes and not in a wedding factory or catering hall that turns out a hundred weddings a year. They’re extremely personal and heartfelt with lots of hand made gifts, warm hellos and long goodbyes. It’s a celebration that lasts all day long and into the next morning and into that days night and into the next morning again, but most of all – more than anything – they’re a gift of a different way of life, of beauty, peace, tranquility and awe that couples like Linda and Trent want to share with the most important people in their lives – all of you.

Words cannot describe how joy filled and happy I am for both of you. I’m happy that you choose the Outer Banks as your marriage destination (just as I did), and I’m happy that you shared this joyful place with so many of your closest friends and family.

Many thanks to the Swenson and Ermes family for raising such wonderful people and for a great party last Thursday. I still have a lot of work to do on these images. Heres some to enjoy while you’re waiting.
